Blush Tones

English Laundry Skirt, Connections Blouse, Kate Spade Handbag, Oscar de la Renta Sunnies, Ann Marino Shoes

Last night around 2am I changed my blog name, so in case you haven't noticed yet, the new name is Blush Road! I thought this would be the perfect introductory post to the new name as it is blush tones!
Now that I have started working, I frequently find myself at the mall on my days off... oops. Monday when I got off work, I stopped by Nordstrom Rack and immediately saw this pleated skirt and couldn't take my eyes off it. It was the only one left and it was my size so I guess you could say it was meant to be. It was also on sale, double score!! When I tried it on I didn't want to take it off. I love the elegance of it and my blush blouse brings it all together. Not to mention, my Kate Spade handbag matches perfectly. After Nordstrom Rack, I felt lucky so I stopped into Marshall's to see what other goodies I could find and I found these Oscar de la Renta sunglasses!! I have been eyeing these Illesteva sunglasses for weeks now so I was sooo excited to find these Oscar sunnies for a fraction of the price. I am so excited to wear this outfit on Sunday for church and brunch because it just screams Sunday Funday.

Floral Midi Skirt

1.State Skirt, sold out (similar), Crop TopMichael Kors Bracelet, Heels & Bag from DSW (similar heelssimilar bag), Jessica Simpson Sunnies

I have recently started to become a huge fan of the midi skirt. I used to think I couldn't pull them off because I am not that tall but with heels, they look perfect. I love the one I linked above from 1.State (currently on my wish list) because it is less vibrant and can go with a lot more. It also has a more summer feel and would be perfect for a beach getaway. After I bought the gorgeous Pleated Watercolor Dress, I have just fallen in love with 1.State. All their stuff is to die for and reasonably priced, too. As soon as I saw this skirt I fell in love, it is kinda hard not to though. I love all the flowers and the best part is it's PINK! In case you haven't caught on yet, my favorite color is pink and I just can't resist any pink I see.
Unfortunately with my new job as a Macy's sales associate (whooo!!), I do not get to celebrate Friday or cheer for the weekend because when you're in the retail industry, a Friday is just the same as a Monday (the only plus about Friday is it is payday)  but for all you weekenders, Happy Saturday!
