Asymmetrical Skort Look

Express SkirtExpress Sweater, Heels (similar), Clutch (similar), Michael Kors BraceletRay-Ban Sunglasses

One of my favorite stores is Express because I love the simplicity of their clothing. I purchased this oversized cowl neck sweater and asymmetric hem skort from there right before Christmas. They were having incredible deals so I scored both of these items for under $60.00 (the original price for the neck sweater is $69.90)!! I also purchased these black suede ankle strap heels from Target for 50% off!  Like I said before, I can't resist a good deal.
I am obsessed with this skort because it can be worn with almost anything and I love that it looks like a skirt but has shorts underneath! This sweater is my go-to sweater because it is so comfy and I like how the sides are longer instead of the back being longer.
I love this look because it is so simple but still chic!

2015 Goals

I love the start of a new year because it gives you a chance to start over in a sense. Setting goals for the new year is extremely important. In the previous years, I have never really cared to achieve them but something changed this year and now I am more determined than ever to reach them.
My first goal is ultimately to become healthy, living a healthy lifestyle. I want to learn how to eat clean and most importantly, I want to lose weight.
My second goal ties together with my first one and it is to become confident. I have always struggled with this, especially in high school. Now that I am in college, it is really important to feel good about myself, especially when it comes time for job interviews and meeting new people.
My third goal is to grow my blog. This is so important to me and one I hope will be my biggest accomplishment.
My fourth goal is to validate the people in my life more. The older you get, the more important your friends become.
My last goal is to be happy!! I am only going to start doing things that I know will make me a better person in the long run. Happiness is truly the key to life, without happiness, you have nothing.
I plan on keeping my goals with me at all times so I don't get discouraged. The easiest way is to type them down (a pretty font will encourage you even more) and set it as your background on your phone or computer!
Be a GOAL digger!
I would love to hear your goals for 2015! Leave me a comment below :)

Style Tips for Fur Vests

Fur Vest (similar), Sweater, Forever21 Skirt (similar), Modcloth Tights, Booties (similar)

Fur vests are a huge trend right now and it seems like they are nearly impossible to find. Luckily I found this black one at Burlington Coat Factory about 3 weeks ago.
I wore this thin sweater underneath my vest to keep me warm and wore my favorite booties with tights!
Booties, boots or closed-toe heels look best with tights.
Fur vests are already thick so you don't want to add to that with a thick shirt/sweater underneath because it will make you look bigger than you are. Also, you should stick to a shirt with tight sleeves. Loose sleeves can make you look bigger, too.

Wrapping Glitter Bottles

This is a continued post of my recent DIY glitter bottles to show you the best way to wrap them! Glitter bottles are very messy when they are not wrapped because the glitter gets everywhere. Wrapping them also makes it much more presentable when giving them to a friend.
They are extremely simple and inexpensive to wrap.

Treat Bag Kit (@ Joann's)

Step 1: Place how ever much tulle you want in the bottom of the bag

Step 2: Place the bottle in the treat bag

Step 3: Write on the tag then slide the ribbon through the hole on the tag
Note: the ribbon and tags are included in the treat bag kit

Step 4: Bunch the treat bag at the top and tie the ribbon tightly around it

You may have to play around with the tulle and ribbon to make it look presentable!

DIY Glitter Bottles

Nothing says New Years Eve better than Champagne and glitter so why not combine them! I am obsessed with these and they are so easy and cheap to make. If you are a broke college student (like me) and cannot afford high price champagne or wine, no worries. Walgreens sells this brand extremely cheap, I only paid $3.99 per bottle!! This is a perfect gift for a fabulous friend who adores everything glitter-related, or even just to celebrate. These are also cute as a kitchen decoration when the celebration is over!

Lets get started
Bottle of Champagne
 Super adhesive spray
1 latex glove
Old sheet, drop cloth, a garbage bag or a box

Step 1: Lay your sheet, drop cloth or garbage bag on a table (outside preferably)
Note: if you have a box, use it. It is way less messy because all the glue and glitter stays inside it

Step 2: Put the glove on your writing hand

Step 3: Hold the bottle with the hand that the glove is on, tilt it and then spray (with your other hand) every area on the bottle where you want glitter to go
Note: covering the label with tape will allow you to have the brand showing

Step 4: Slowly sprinkle the glitter all over the adhesive spray on the champagne bottle

Step 5: Gently shake the bottle to get all the excess glitter off

Voila! You now have a beautiful, sparkly Champagne bottle!

You may need to retouch a couple areas by simply adding more glue and glitter
