Vintage Gucci

My mom just handed this Gucci bag down to me that she bought about 30 years ago and I am so in love with it! It goes with just about everything and it can be used as a casual clutch or a cosmetic bag. I paired it with a simple outfit so the bag could pop and added a little color on my lips with my favorite lipstick by MAC.

Spring Cleaning (your closet)

Out with the old and in with the new! I have never done spring cleaning before but now is a great time to start if I am ever going to do it. I am a hoarder when it comes to clothes and shoes. I still have some tops that I bought in 9th grade that I know I am never going to wear but I always think there might be that one occasion that would be perfect for it. It is always a refreshing feeling starting new so why not start new with your closet?
As I have been going through all my clothes, I learned the easiest way to get rid of something is asking your self "Would I buy this if I was out shopping right now?" If the answer is no, don't fight it, just toss it! A couple more questions to consider when contemplating to keep something; Is it trendy & does it fit! Happy spring cleaning and always remember to donate what you cannot sell. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

How To Maximize your Closet Space

Moving away to college meant a lot of changes and a lot of downsizing, especially in my closet space. I was lucky enough to have a walk-in closet back home thanks to my handy dad so moving from 2 closets (1 being a walk-in) to only having a couple shelves and one hanging rod, I knew I had to get creative. I found these belt hangers at HomeGoods and thought instead of belts, I could hang my sleeveless dresses and tops on them and it has been one of the best things that has happened to my closet. It would have taken half my closet to individually hang up these dresses and tops and now it only takes one hanger and a couple inches!
You can purchase this hanger here!
